The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had
told them to go. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some
doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven
and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Couples for Christ (CFC) is a faith community that began with 16 couples in Manila in 1981. It has since grown to 2 Million members in 123 countries all over the world today.
In 1986, the CFC Family Ministries were born. They are meant to provide spiritual nourishment and values formation to every member of the family as they go through the different stages in life:
CFC-Kids for Christ (KFC) for children aged from 0 to 12
CFC-Youth for Christ (YFC) for teenage children until they
graduate college
CFC-Singles for Christ (SFC) for singles aged from 20 to
the time they get married and become Couples for Christ
CFC-Handmaids of the Lord (HOLD) for unwed mothers, single
parents, widows, separated women, wives of husbands who are not
yet inclined to join CFC, wives working abroad with husband and
family in the Philippines
CFC-Servants of the Lord (SOLD) the ministry for the men
in similar state as the women in Handmaids of the Lord
Also in 1986, CFC began to spread to other countries starting with India and China (Hong Kong). In 1995, it has reached Europe. Today, it is in 27 countries all over this continent:
